Las Yayas

The visit to Las Yayas is complemented by wonderful views of the vast block, typical of the area, shades of green tropical forests, and the Colorado River incredible red pigments, is a surface water body which has a reddish hue, apparently derived from minerals from the region or from a variety of trees that give this tone. Here, there is a red bridge, from which you can appreciate this feature and where you could start a tour to explore the rainforest typical of the region. Notably, there is also a Rio Blanco where and pigments disappear. Here the local community operates a small shop where candy, chips and soft drinks are sold mainly to the same members of the community. It is also possible to rent a cabin for comfort. The entrance to the waterfall is $ 1 a national traveler, $ 2 for foreigners. We walked some time down some red stairs that led us to different parts of the river. The first introduced us to a stream that descends from among concave rocks where the water falls under the shadows of the stones. We climbed the railings and arrived at a viewpoint from where the three waterfalls seen, El Chorro the Yayas, crystal and fresh water, full of myths and legends.
